Japanese Fried Rice
Ingredients:
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp cooking wine (or sherry)
1/8 tsp ground pepper
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
1/4 cup onion, chopped
3 cups cooked rice
1 cup cooked shrimp, halved
1 cup green peas, blanched
Preparation:
1. In a bowl, mix the beaten eggs, soy sauce, cooking wine, and ground pepper; set aside.
2. heat oil in a pan and saute garlic and ginger. Add the onions, rice, shrimp, and peas.
3. Continue to mix rice, while slowly pouring the egg mixture. make sure that the egg mixture is cooked. Serve hot.
