Kikiam


Ingredients:

2 cups ground pork (or fish)
2 tbsp onion, chopped
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tbsp chives, chopped
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp five-spice powder
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup cornstarch
oil for frying

Preparation:

1. In a bowl, combine the ground pork, onions, flour, chives, and breadcrumbs.

2. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and five-spice powder.

3. Add the slightly beaten egg and mix well.

4. Get a teaspoonful of the mixture and roll in cornstarch. Repeat until the mixture is used up. Set aside.

5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the pieces until brown. Serve with ketchup or sweet chili sauce.
