Siopao Asado


Ingredients:

For the dough:

1 kg all-purpose flour
1 cup baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
warm water as needed

For the filling:

1/2 kg beef brisket, boiled and chopped to bite-size pieces
1/4 cup sesame oil
1 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce

Preparation:

1. Mix the four, baking powder, and sugar. Gently add the warm water. Knead to make a dough and set aside.

2. Combine all the ingredients together in sauce pan and cook for a few minutes. Let cool and set aside.

3. Take dough depending on the size of siopao you want to make. Fill with the prepared filling. Repeat the procedures.

4. Steam the siopao for 10 to 15 minutes.
